What Morademia is

Morademia helps students and researchers see what a lab publishes, who funds it, how it works with students, and what others say about working there. Facts come from public records and link to their source. Indicators are computed by rules that the methodology describes. The same rules apply to every researcher and every country.

Accuracy

Public records contain errors: wrong affiliations, merged or split author profiles, missing works. Indicators are only as good as these records. Check the sources before you make a decision, and tell us when something is wrong (see corrections and removals). Morademia is provided as it is, without a warranty that it is complete or correct.

Reviews

  • Write only about your own experience of working with the researcher.
  • Describe what happened. Do not make claims that you cannot support.
  • Do not include personal information about anyone, threats, insults, or content about a person's private life, health, religion, ethnicity or political views.
  • Do not write a review of yourself, a competitor, or for payment.

We moderate every review before it is published, and we can edit out personal details, reject a review, or remove it later. When you submit a review, you allow us to publish it as part of the combined results for that researcher.

Fair use of the site and API

The API is open, so that anyone can check and reuse what we show. Do not use Morademia or its data to harass, threaten or target any person, and do not overload the service. We limit request rates and can block abuse. If you republish data, say that it comes from Morademia and OpenAlex.
